Cell line development involves multiple complex processes requiring consistency and reproducible results.

During the development of a chromatographic method, different parameters must be investigated. In order to reduce the method development timing, a QbD based approach, which allows also to verify the impact of combination among different parameters, is encouraged by recently published ICHQ14 guidance.

CD205/Ly75, was selected as target antigen for a humanized anti-CD205 IgG1 conjugated to the DM4 toxin, MEN1309. The over expression of CD205 in different solid cancers, combined with its capability to induce ligand internalization, were key factors in the election of CD205 to excellent target for an Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC).

Project MenHub concerning “Creation of an industrial attraction pole for biotech companies in Lazio based on molecular technology DEPArrayTM ”, co-funded by Lazio Innova (Key Enabling Technologies – 2018), has started on January 2, 2018 and it will finish on June 30, 2019.

We were at Biopronet 5th Annual Science meeting 2018 with a poster concerning “A DOE Approach to Oxygen Transfer Modelling for Single Use Bioreactors at Multiple Scales “, in collaboration with ROK Bioconsulting.

We were at Bioproduction 2018 with an oral presentation concerning “Accelerated Media and Feed Development through Use of Media and Feed Library Screening”. We presented data obtained in collaboration with Beckton and Dickinson.

Menarini Biotech has established a UK Branch of its process development laboratories at the newly constructed Thames Valley Science Park in Reading, UK. Occupying 400m2 of lab and office space the UK Branch
